Dear Diary,
Well this is a new diary, I think. I have no recollection of who I was before waking up in the woods outside of the Bloody Kingdom. The only way I know my name is the name on my violin that was with me. The name was Requiem. I highly doubt that is my name, but that is all I have at the moment. So what happened when I woke up? Well instincts told me to play the violin. I did so and the most amazing thing happened! When playing the strings came alive and started slicing everything around me. I knew there must be a way to have the strings only concentrate on one thing so I decided to concentrate on a tree. It was amazing how easily I could make the strings do what I wanted them to do. This must mean that me and the violin were made for each other.
After some time I was able to get the strings to kill small animals for me to eat. This was only about a few hours. Unfortunately when hunting an animal my strings accidently attacked another human. He screamed out and cut my strings short. I immediately stopped playing. I then looked at him for a second, noticing his green uniform, red spiky hair, and black eye patch. I came toward him and tried to apologize, but he then pulled out his sword and took it to my throat. “You know girlie attacking a soldier of the Bloody Kingdom is a crime by death! But! He he! Fortunate for you, your quite the beauty and powerful as well! I will take you to the prince and see what we will do with you!” At that moment he threw some sort of blue dust in my face and I passed out.
I awoke to see myself in a room covered in black and red. The curtains on the window and four poster bed, as well as the rug and bed covers were all those colors. My dress was a slim long black silk dress with long bell sleeves. The dress also had red ribbons woven onto the sides of the sleeves and skirt. My black hair felt short and was partly over my face covering one eye. When my eyes opened a bit more I saw a woman with long brown hair and black lace dress on bending over me. “Good your finally awake. The prince has been waiting for you. He wants to see the power of your violin. So get up and get your violin that rests on the vanity over by the window. You should hurry...” At that moment I realized I should do what she or anyone said. I noticed they all carried a weapon of some sort. This one had a gun and a sword and a dagger!! I got up cautiously and walked over to the vanity. While walking I became aware that the women (probably maids) already put my shoes on while I was asleep. I checked my violin for any damage and saw it was in perfect shape. It was even waxed!! Then graciously I bowed to the women. “I am ready please show me to where I must go.”
The women suddenly opened the door and walked out down the hallway. I followed, admiring the golden walls and gold rimmed paintings. The rug was a brilliant red with gold trim, this was far brighter than my room. We walked through about 3 halls before entering the throne room. The walls here were pitch black with a red carpet. No windows even, how strange it was to see that. At the far end was the throne, in it the prince. He was about 17 I would guess (turns out I was right.) The prince wore a red jeweled crown, simple black shirt and shorts, and a long red cloak with white fur trim. He had school boy looking black shoes on with his black socks coming up to his knees. It looked cute too! His hair was somewhat messy a black spiky look. His golden eyes seem to pierce me. To his left was a butler with straight silver short hair, double colored eyes red and blue, a monocle, and a normal tux. To his right was the man who captured me. On my left lined up on the wall was four young boys stripped down to nothing. They were tied in chains, but standing.
I walked up to the center of the room and bowed. Then the butler announced who I was. “This is Requiem a girl that Lord Aya found in the woods. She is charged for attacking Aya, but as Aya has put in his report he thinks she would make a good new executioner to replace our previous on. Today she will show here killing skills to you my prince. The ones who are to be executed are four boys that invaded the castle and tried to steal some of your treasures.” The prince then laughed out loud. “Well then this should be fun! If she does well I have a new executioner, if she fails the maids get to have some fun today! Let the execution begin!! Please Requiem show me your best!”
With the command I struck out my violin and started to play a fiery tune. The sound made it feel as if the room was set on fire, I had the strings bring the boys closer to me. Then I struck four sharp notes that flung the boys up into the air. Then I looped my music over and over making the boys spin in the air like dolls. Then repeating the same tune I did sharp note in-between the music. At the sound of the note a limb would be torn off of each of the boys. With all their screaming I let the music go on more. When terror truly took place in their eyes and voice I maid one last note that chopped their heads off. When everyone thought the execution was done I made the true last note which brought the body pieces down in a rain fall. I thought everyone was going to scream at the horrific sight, but that was not so. The prince came running up to me and hugged me! He then whispered into my ear. “I have never been so glued to an execution!! You are not only my new executioner but my private entertainer. What I will do now is to show my ultimate gratitude.” The then touched my right cheek with a dagger and etched a star like symbol on my face. It hurt but what came next made me forget the pain. He then licked the blood dry and started to kiss me passionately.

Leaving me stunned he walked over to his butler and directed him to me. The butler introduced himself. “Pardon me my lady I am Moe the head butler. I have been instructed to take you back to your room so you may get cleaned up for dinner with the prince. Please follow me.” He bowed and started to head off. I quickly followed him still a bit dazed though. I saw as I passed by that the maids were not happy of what just happened with me and the prince. I think I’m more afraid now than I was at the start.
I entered my room and Moe opened the bathroom door. “We had the bath prepared in case you did win over the prince. Funny that you won him over so much. I would watch your back with the maids. All of them had desires of being with the prince but all of them were not good enough. You’re the first girl to attract the prince so much. Dinner will be served in 3 hours please be ready to be escorted by that time... And I suggest keeping your violin with you at all times...” He gave me a look of concern before exiting my room. Then I heard him give orders to the guards to watch over my room. When I felt more secure I got undressed and slipped into the bath. It was warm and filled with the scent of cinnamon. First thing I tried washing was the mark the prince gave me. I noticed though it was already healed and washed clean. The prince must have some sort of mystical powers. I smiled as the memory of being kissed by him kept replaying in my mind. I heard women entering the chamber doors. I held onto my violin but not showing that I was concerned. All the sudden bullets came shooting at me, but my violin reacted to the threat and stopped the bullets with it’s strings! The strings then attacked and killed the girls! The guards popped their heads in and started laughing. “Oh Moe told us this would happen. Do not worry miss Requiem, we will have this cleaned up quickly. The other maids will learn from this.” When they left me alone I got out of the bath and quickly got dressed. I was given a silver silk dress that was much looser than the dress I wore before. My arms showed but my legs were covered by the dress. I slipped on some silver high heals and walked out of the room avoiding the bloody mess. I then asked the guards where there was a library for me to relax in. “Oh the library? Usually only Mysti and Poporo visit there. Go down the hallway, take the second left, and go down the stairs one floor. There take a right and you will see a grand door, that is the library. We will tell Moe that you are there. Enjoy miss Requiem!” I bowed to the guards and with my violin in hand I made my way to the library.

Surprisingly it took me a good half hour to get to the library. The directions made it sound shorter than it was. The doors seem out of place. They were bigger than even the throne room doors. They seem to depict some sort of story on them. One door showed people bowing down to the people in the sky ships. The sky ships were like disks with many jewels on them. Then the other door was covered with people eating other people. I wondered what it was about, but then the door opened revealing two little kids. There was a girl with black hair that was curled and she was wearing a gothic black dress. The other was a cut little boy with blue hair and wore common dress cloths. The little boy looked at me and mumbled something I did not pick up. The girl slapped the boy and yelled out loud, “Poporo how rude! Never mumble before someone you do not know!” She then quickly and turned to look at me. “I am sorry miss! My name is Mysti and this is my friend Poporo. Sorry if he was rude!” I giggled and waved my hand. “It is alright. It is not the rudest I have seen here.” I bowed to her and the boy. “My name is Requiem. I am serving as Prince Morar’s personal executioner. Nice to meet you two.” The girl looked into me with her dark black eyes and then smiled. “Well this is a first that he lets a girl get so close with her limbs and eyes intact. This will be interesting! Sorry but me and Poporo have to be excused we are late for our baths.” I nodded my head and let them go.
When the two left I entered the massive library. I was awed how pure and white the place was. Far different from the rest of the castle. I was expecting it to be much darker, I was kind of disappointed. At the entrance there was a crystal ball, pretty basic looking but it did float at five feet off the ground with nothing holding it. It all the sudden glowed red and shot a beam at my head! Nothing happened to me thank goodness. When the beam was done a book came flying out from the shelves and landed at my feat. The book had the same cover as the doors and the title was “Beginning of Our History”. I thought it was lame that the title was less dramatic than the cover. When I began to open the book a beautiful lady entered the library. She wore a long red dress and a golden tiara. Her hair was like gold silk, but her face did not fit. Her face was what you thought of a crazed murderer would wear. Makeup dripping down her face and a wide smile. She laughed at me and cackled out a line. “I thought I would be able to relax for a bit! But would you know a little brat of a girl that thinks she owns the place got here before me!” I pointed to myself and replied “Me?” She laughed like a witch. “Oh yes you. Just because my brother lusts for you like no other does not give you allowance to walk where you please! You should of stayed in your room and waited for your escorts like a good servant! Now you shall die for doing as you please!” She then lunged at me with great speed. I was lucky to dodge her first attack. I flung out my violin which at that moment launched it’s strings out and tangled up the girl. Before the strings could do any damage a man came running into the room. “Cicil! Requiem! Stop it!” My strings fell back and the woman ran to the man who I made out to be Aya. “Cicil you can’t attack her. Moe gave the order to allow Requiem to roam as she pleased. She is to know where everything is so she can learn the teleport spell.” The lady nodded. “I am truly sorry my lord. I thought she was trying to act like she owned the place.” Aya patted the woman’s head and smiled. “At least nothing happened to either you two. I would hate to see what the prince would do if Requiem was killed. She already had a close call with those maids.” He gave out a big laugh then escorted the woman out.
Moments later two soldiers came in and waved over to me. “Miss Requiem it’s time for dinner. The prince is waiting.” I clutched my violin and gave a big sigh and smile. Then the soldiers escorted me out and then the second we stepped out of the library I heard a voice say, “Trans”. Then a bright light overwhelmed me and I was all the sudden in front of another door. The door was a normal wooden door and opened up to a beautiful antique looking dining room. There was a huge fire behind the head of the table. The walls, furniture and floor were all beautiful dark wood. The table could fit twelve people. Five on each side and one seat at each head. I was sat down at the head of the table near the exit. The head of the table near the fire was the most exquisite chair. As the prince entered the room he looked sharply at me then shouted out. “Why is she so far away from me. I thought I said I wanted to sit next to her. Well if you insist of her to sit there I guess I will go down there and sit next to her!” Before he could take one step Moe reached out to him. “My prince I will arrange it so she sits next to you. We were just following protocol.” I was then stood up and moved to a seat on the left of the prince. He sat down in his chair and smiled. “My Requiem how I loved your performance. There is no other woman that is more beautiful than you. No other person in the world has ever made me that excited before. Ok Aya is a close second to you. But I knew you were to become not only my new executioner but my wife as well. Of course I’m not allowed to marry any woman. She must pass the test of Orion. Since you just came here I need to wait a little bit before I can give you the test. We all do not know your origins. Hopefully you are friend and not foe. After dinner I would love it if you would join me in bed tonight.” He caught himself and looked at Moe. “Of course nothing physical! Oh! No that would just not work. Then would you just spend some time till I go to sleep, then you may go back to your chambers.” All I could do is smile at that blushing face of power and reply. “I will do just that my lord. Just to comfort you.” The dinner came and it was delicious meat sauteed with honey sauce over a bed of mixed rice. We had pea pods sauteed in the same sauce encircling the pile. The drink was of course blood with an eyeball floating in it. The prince licked his lips when he saw the eye ball. The meal was delicious and it was strange but I liked the blood. I guess that was a good thing because everyone held their breath when I drank. I guess it’s not good if you don’t like blood. Dessert was a bit strange though. It was fingers of a woman covered in strawberries and whipped cream. Even that though tasted good. I guess I am one of them.
After dinner I was escorted back to my chambers to get dressed into a special dress to wear for the prince. The dress was a long gothic black with puffy layers of red and red ribbons strung all across it. I was to wear no shoes and to leave the chest strings untied. I was then escorted to the balcony of the prince’s chamber. “Please enter my dear.” The curtains strung up revealing the prince without his long red robe. He even had his crown off. I blushed seeing him in his silk loose shirt and shorts. So much more of his porcelain white skin was revealed to me. He then patted the bed next to him and gave a cute smile. “Please join me. You promised.” I then slipped into the room and gently sat on his silk red bed. The bed had the smell of roses. All the sudden the prince layed his head on my lap! I gave a little “Oh my!” but thankfully the prince didn’t notice. “Requiem, I have been alone all my life. Both my sisters Mysti and Cicil have found lovers, but I have been left alone. None of the girls around here have passed Orion’s test. Actually none of them even passed me. I’m hoping that you will be able to be with me forever. I’m... No I can’t say it...” I dared to pet his hair and he let me. “My prince what is it that you need to say? I will not tell anyone.” I choked on that. Of course I can’t say anything he says. I would be killed instantly. Morar then snuggled up more to me. “I can not say it now. Let me just enjoy this for now.” He kept letting me pet his hair until he curled away and fell asleep on his bed. I pulled the cover from the other side over him then exited the room. There I was escorted back to my room where I came to see a blank book on my vanity. This is when I started to write in you. Well that about wraps up what happened today. I will keep you up to date on what happens to me here.

I was then escorted to the balcony of the prince’s chamber. “Please enter my dear.” The curtains strung up revealing the prince without his long red robe. He even had his crown off. I blushed seeing him in his silk loose shirt and shorts. So much more of his porcelain white skin was revealed to me. He then patted the bed next to him and gave a cute smile. “Please join me. You promised.” I then slipped into the room and gently sat on his silk red bed. The bed had the smell of roses. All the sudden the prince layed his head on my lap! I gave a little “Oh my!” but thankfully the prince didn’t notice. “Requiem, I have been alone all my life. Both my sisters Mysti and Cicil have found lovers, but I have been left alone. None of the girls around here have passed Orion’s test. Actually none of them even passed me. I’m hoping that you will be able to be with me forever. I’m... No I can’t say it...” I dared to pet his hair and he let me. “My prince what is it that you need to say? I will not tell anyone.” I choked on that. Of course I can’t say anything he says. I would be killed instantly. Morar then snuggled up more to me. “I can not say it now. Let me just enjoy this for now.” He kept letting me pet his hair until he curled away and fell asleep on his bed. I pulled the cover from the other side over him then exited the room. There I was escorted back to my room where I came to see a blank book on my vanity. This is when I started to write in you. Well that about wraps up what happened today.
